We have an exciting opportunity for a experienced QA Test Analyst to join our Product & Transformation team in UK Business. In this role you will be responsible for making sure our products are simple and easy for our customesr to use by rigorously testing the end-to-end operational experience prior to product launches.
This role has also to over see the overall test management practice and alignment with Vodafone processes. To drive and manage the test and acceptance at release and/or project level covering operational readiness, field user trialists and user acceptance where ever is required.
Provide assurance of Governance across all required test phases and adherence to acceptance protocol to guarantee solution quality, operational readiness within agreed KPIs and ultimately contribute to deliver customer satisfaction. The Test Analyst role will need to make sure that all the testing stream activities are in place and the different teams are working as expected to guarantee a successful delivery.
As a Test Analyst you also have management and control of all defects across our products and releases. You will be expected to maintain absolute integrity of the defects in Azure DevOps and ensuring a full audit trail for any changes made to defect status outside of the published defect process.
What will you be doing?
Co-ordinating across multiple test & project teams to successfully launch increments across squads- Planning, coordination and alignment with business and operation streams at project level for the definition and management of test and acceptance exit criteria
- Take full, overall accountability for the defect management cycle for your products and releases in test or service management, obtaining input and approval from the relevant stakeholders
- You will take ownership and management of the Defect Process, ensuring all defects are triaged and entered correctly and controlled / managed as effectively as possible through their lifecycle
Who are we looking for?
Demonstrable and recent track record of delivering end-to-end QA and test artifacts that span multi-disciplinary areas, preferably in a large telecommunications or IT environment. All within an AGILE environment- Experienced in understanding business processes. Writing test cases & test plans. Experienced in creating test schedules.
- Ability to understand a wide range of disciplines in enough detail to communicate effectively with experts in those areas, for example: sales, order management, provisioning and assurance processes, billing and operations
- Self-starter, with the ability to show initiative and work with minimal supervision. Ability to manage in dynamic, multi-cultural, high uncertainity environments
Will ideally have:
ISEB / ISTQB
Agile and Test Lead / Defect Management experience
5 years proven experience of test/defect management experience across large and complex programmes
Knowledge of service management discipline (ITIL)
Experience of co-ordinating teams of IT and business specialists and working with 3rd party IT service providers
