Job description
The QA/QC Inspector will ensure that client specifications, in terms of quality and process, are met. Ensuring that accurate records are maintained together with a high level of customer satisfaction.
Roles & responsibilities:
- To conduct goods inward/outward inspections to ensure the quantity, condition and correct documentation for receipt and dispatch are maintained to an effective standard
- To ensure adherence to warehouse and client procedures and report non conformities in a timely manner
- To ensure that all manufacturing and test documentation/certification is completed to the client standards
- Review and endorse certification including Materials Certification, Pressure Testing, Electrical/ATEX, NDT)
- Archiving client documentation and certification
- Develop good working relationships with client and key stakeholders
- To participate in continually improving the service to the client and respond to feedback
- Prepare equipment and relevant documentation for shipment
- To comply with safe working practices at all time and participate in regular toolbox talks. Ensuring that all personnel are fully aware of the job task prior to commencement of the work
- Empowered to “stop the job” if an action is considered unsafe and report to line supervisor
- To support the Warehouse Supervisor and under any reasonable tasks that are within your capability
- Comply with the company procedures
- Comply with Level 1 of HSE Employee Responsibility and Accountability
- Comply with Level 1 of Peterson Values & Behaviors
Performance Measure
- Feedback from the client and customer satisfaction
- Service Delivery and ability to are ready for dispatch and to the right standard
- Safety performance levels
- Non Conformity reports
- HSEQ Reports
Qualifications and experience
- Experienced within a store environment and previously worked in Quality Control would be an advantage.
- Knowledgeable of the test documentation and certifications process.
- Experience with Values and Pressure Testing preferred.
- An understanding of manual handling and COSHH.
- Mechanical or electrical engineering qualification.
- Customs awareness.
- Computer Literate, proficient in use of Excel, Word, SAP
