QA Officer

At Teva Runcorn, we develop, manufacture and market innovative and affordable medicines, specialising in sterile liquid products mainly used for treating respiratory conditions using Blow-Fill-Seal technology as well as injectable Combination Products such as our MS treatment Copaxone.
A Day In The Life Of A QA Officer
Key Responsibilities:
To support manufacturing and other areas across site in the development, implementation and maintenance of cGMP standards.
Key point of contact in support of QC & Microbiology.
To review and approve batch manufacturing and packaging documentation within agreed timelines to support product release spending at least 50% of time on line performing batch reviews and line audits.
To review and approve quality documentation to ensure compliance with cGMP
To prepare and complete product quality reviews to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
To close out failure investigations and preventative actions to reduce repeat failures and to monitor actions to prevent overdue actions
To carry out audits to support the identification, actioning and close out of non-compliance issues
Who Are We Looking For?
Do you have?
A degree background within a relevant science based discipline or equivalent career experience
An understanding of EU & US guidelines and the product licensing processes.
Knowledge of GMP requirements in relation to sterile product manufacture and packaging.
Working experience within the Pharma industry however, Teva would also be open to reviewing recent graduate applications.

Someone that understands the need for quality with a keen eye for detail
Able to communicate both orally and in the written format to personnel at all levels

Working Hours
Shift patterns available:
- Both days (6am-6pm) and nights (6pm-6am) shifts. 7 shifts across a 2 week period
- 40% of base salary- Shift allowance
- Continental days (6am-6pm). 7 shifts across a 2 week period
- 19% of base salary- Shift allowance
