We are seeking a QA Team Lead to take on a critical role in our company, responsible for managing and leading a team of quality professionals while driving the overall approach to software product quality. You will have the opportunity to work alongside talented professionals in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, shaping the company's approach to software quality and driving the development of innovative products that delight our customers.

We will expect you to have:

    • Strong knowledge of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices, and the ability to construct and implement these best practices within the team and organisation
    • Ability to work closely with product management teams to ensure requirements are documented appropriately for generating test cases and can readily be tested, and to ensure that best practices are being followed in this area
    • Ability to develop and execute a comprehensive quality strategy that aligns with the company's overall objectives, and incorporates best practices for quality assurance in software development
    • Experience managing a team of QA staff, including the ability to delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively while ensuring that best practices are followed
    • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate best practices, quality requirements, and testing strategies to team members, stakeholders, and other departments in a clear and concise manner
    • Experience building out test automation from initial implementation across large enterprise software platforms, and the ability to ensure that best practices are being used in these areas
    • Knowledge of continuous integration and deployment practices and experience balancing an effective QA strategy with fast paced delivery
    • Experience with performance and load testing tools and methodologies, with a proven ability to work with software engineers to test and scale web applications and APIs
    • Understanding of agile and/or DevOps software development methodologies and experience integrating best practices for quality assurance into those processes
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to troubleshoot issues and identify areas for improvement, and the ability to implement best practices to address those areas
    • Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment, and the ability to implement best practices throughout the entire process


Experience and skills we're looking for:

    • Experience with cloud-based testing tools and services, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and the ability to implement best practices for testing in a cloud environment.
    • Familiarity with security and compliance requirements for enterprise software, such as HIPAA, ISO 27001, FedRAMP or GDPR, and the ability to implement best practices for ensuring security and compliance in the software development process.
    • Knowledge of data analysis and reporting tools, such as Power BI or Tableau, to provide insights into quality metrics and trends, and the ability to implement best practices for data analysis and reporting.
    • Familiarity with software documentation and technical writing, including test plans, test cases, and user manuals, and the ability to implement best practices for documentation and technical writing.
