The QA Support team at Shazam is currently looking for a highly motivated, QA engineer with a passion for quality and exceptional attention to detail, who will help us bring our quality practices and our automation frameworks to the next level. As a member of the team, you’ll be working with all the different teams at Shazam, to create a high quality product for all of the supported platforms.
Key Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to deliver and work on tight schedules
- Ability to multi-task and manage tasks with varying priorities
- Coding experience ideally using Python, or mobile automation testing tools
- Experience using proxy tools to debug the data flows between applications to services
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle, testing methodologies, QA terminology and processes
- Proven bug detection and end-to-end manual testing skills
Description
We are looking for a QA engineer who will be responsible for expanding our current automation framework and our test case automation coverage as well as regularly running our manual and automated regressions. You will own complete functional areas and must be able to define test approaches and strategies, as well as execute functionality, compatibility, integration and reliability testing. Excellent written and verbal communications is a requirement, together with outstanding teamwork skills and the ability to share your knowledge with others. Education & Experience
BSc or MSc in Computer Science/ Engineering or equivalent experience.
