Job Type: Permanent
You will work as an integral part of a growing, agile and versatile product team. Daily, you will be involved in product releases from planning and design through to release. This means working closely with Product Owners, Software Engineers and business stakeholders to create and extend the innovative product suite offered by us.
The role
- To develop technical domain knowledge of Microsoft products, especially Microsoft Teams as well as in-house software solutions.
- Concentrate on business requirements and work alongside Product Owner to ensure examples of desired behaviors and misbehaviors are captured early and hidden assumptions are discovered.
- Work with developers to understand the architecture of the solutions and identify test scenarios for effective test coverage for the integrated components.
- Work with DevOps to approve deployments to appropriate environments.
- Undertake all testing roles including design of test scenarios, test execution and test result interpretation in line with business needs and priorities.
- Validate deployments of the developed solutions in various environments.
- Documenting and reporting defects and analysing their root cause.
- Continually be looking to improve your expertise in testing, domain knowledge and skills.
About you:
We are looking for a solid manual tester, any automation testing experience will be a bonus! You will have a track record in all phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), Bug Life Cycle and software development methodologies. Previously, you will have experience in end-to-end, black box, functional, system, regression and smoke testing. Also, you will have good understanding of Agile processes like daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives and status boards.
Our software teams work collaboratively so you will have a strong sense of teamwork, personal integrity, responsibility and accountability. The ability to respond positively to pressure and take a flexible approach to a dynamic and fast moving environment is a great trait to have!

- API's
- Relational databases and authoring SQL queries
- Microsoft Azure
