Job Title: Booking Coordinator
Location: The London General Practice at HCA Primary Care.
Full-Time 40 hours/ week
Hours are in practice 8.30-5.30 or 9.00-6.00pm (10-7pm could be a future shift option)
Salary: 25,000

Job Description
This role is the first point of contact via phone promoting LGP. Ensuring a professional tone is used at all times creating a safe and welcoming journey for all possible contacts made. The outcome is to maximise patient bookings and minimise patient cancelations.
Responsible for all incoming patient results and letters maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.
Admin support to the practice, meeting and time expectations.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Answer Telephone enquiries in an efficient manner
- Book appointments, medicals, covid tests, and varied appointments
- Request and return telephone messages providing relevant information to patient, assisting patient with appointment enquires via email
- Monitoring main practice mailbox and answering enquiries
- Process card payments upon appointment booking and create patient invoice
- Maintain a positive can do attitude and efficient telephone manner
- Maintain LGP's 5 star standard of service accommodating all requests in a professional manner
- Coordinating/booking various medicals
- Telephone diversion to relevant colleagues in clinic obtaining all required information.
- Manage follow up call process from out of hours calls and emails at beginning of shift and action accordingly and log
- Be a team player and maintain great communication with team
- Booking out of clinic visits to patients at hotels, or various locations.
- Navigate our clinical booking system Crosscare efficiently
- Organise Covid Home test kits and courier booking system
- Prepare clinical forms for patient bookings
- Upload confidential patient documentation to our booking system
- Responsible for minimising cancellations and DNAs and rebooking if this occurs.
- Adhere with GDPR regulations
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience within a similar, customer/client centric Reception/Bookings role
- Experience within the healthcare industry or a large corporate business would be advantageous
- Excellent communication skills
- Computer literate
