Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the overall quality of our consumer electronics and other products manufactured under our portfolio of national and private brands.

Responsibilities:

  • Review company and customer product feature requirements and align them with technical and compliance specifications.
  • Perform comprehensive evaluation and testing of products at each stage of the development and production cycle.
  • Validate hardware and functional performance, and software (if applicable), according to technical and compliance specifications.
  • Write and/or review user manual operating instructions and other customer support information.
  • Monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot customer complaints and quality control failures to identify root causes and implement corrective and preventative actions.
  • Prepare and update reports on quality assurance findings.
  • Develop and enhance quality control standards, documents, and processes.

Qualifications:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in electronics, electrical engineering, quality engineering, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical or electronic quality engineering or a similar technical role.
  • Experience in the consumer electronics, home entertainment, and/or home automation industry.
  • Hands-on experience in testing and evaluating consumer electronic hardware products, including those with wireless and app-related capabilities.
  • Familiarity with electronic components, schematic diagrams, and electronic test equipment.
  • Knowledge of digital and analog electronic circuitry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficient writing skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple departments and build relationships.
  • Experience with manufacturing processes is a plus.
  • ASQ certification preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft products, particularly Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
