As Kaboodle moves into its next phase of rapid growth and development, we are looking for a QA Engineer to help us ramp up our QA capacity.
Who are you:
You're an enthusiastic software tester and advocate for testing, testability and quality. Working closely with the QA manager and developers you will be creating the framework for the QA branch, having instrumental input on how best to maintain and deliver a quality product.

You Will:
- Plan, produce and execute test cases and check results to ensure the system's technical and functional requirements are met.
- Work closely with and aid the development team to ensure resolution of recorded issues.
- Work with the QA manager, attending and contributing to our Agile ceremonies
- Test in different environments including web and mobile
- Identify, raise and report on defects
- Execute regression tests
- Create appropriate documentation and user manuals
- Nurture a genuine interest in our software and keep yourself continually up to date with best practice and innovation in testing
- Meet with system users to understand the scope of projects
- Work with software developers and project support teams
- Attend Scrum meetings, track and ensure the defects are closed using JIRA
- Understand underlying system architecture and requirements as well as business strategy
What we’re looking for:
- Manual testing experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience with automated testing tools (Cypress, Selenium, K6, Postman would be advantageous and desirable
- Experience planning and testing APIs
- Understanding of performance testing using tolls like K6, Kmeter
- Good knowledge of various Agile methodologies
- Automated testing experience is desirable, along with experience using any test case management tools
- JIRA/Confluence experience
We are currently working mostly remote, with teams heading to our little office in Ancoats around once per week for specific, collaborative meetings that are more effective in person. We value flexibility and are trusted to work from wherever we feel most productive.
