Job description
· Responsible for upholding and helping to enhance the company food safety, legality, quality and authenticity culture.
· Leading by example, ensure behaviours and actions are consistently in line with Company Values and our ‘SAFE’ culture and ensuring that all processes and procedures regarding Health, Safety and Hygiene are strictly adhered to.
· Complete quality records on a daily basis or against the agreed frequency detailed in the product specification.
· Daily completion of quality start up and completion checks via the in house ‘app’
· Daily production quality checks such as torque tests and product weight checks
· Paperwork checks, ensuring all batch codes and dates are entered and correct
· Seen to enforce quality standards on a daily basis & take appropriate action when standards are not met.
· Lead by example to ensure good Hygiene and Good Housekeeping practices are maintained across the site.
· Ensure prompt escalation of production or technical quality issues to either the Production or Technical Team
· Support the Line Leaders in ensuring the production area is kept to a clean and safe standard
· Work with the Production Line Leader to ensure end of shift clean down and handover is completed to appropriate and agreed standards
· To actively work in line with the company’s ‘SAFE’ culture
· To support production or technical work requirements as and when required
Working hours are 6:30 am until finish (average 4pm). Average 45 hours per week. Monday - Friday with occasional Saturday working.
Own transport is essential due to location.
