Job description
Behaviour for Learning Keyworker (full time) – permanent September 2023
At Saffron Valley, we work with complex and vulnerable students, with a range of needs. We know that all many children can develop negative relationships with education, but we strive to understand more about each of their individual barriers to learning, so that we can best support them. We passionately believe that every child is a learner and that learning is pivotal to developing a sense of pride, independence and emotional wellbeing.
As a Behaviour for Learning Key-worker, you would be instrumental in making learning accessible and developing students’ pride in themselves and their future-plans. If you are ready to bring patience, high expectations and quality support for learning to some of the most vulnerable schoolchildren in Croydon, this could be your next career move. The PRU provides education to pupils with a wide variety of needs. Please see our website for more information.

- ability to act on own initiative, dealing with any unexpected problems that arise with care and resilience
- high motivation, enthusiasm and professional standards.
- ability to communicate effectively, use of ICT and have a ‘can-do’-attitude
In return, we offer
- Ongoing CPD and training
