We have an exciting opportunity to work for a global retail solutions provider in our London (Ealing) Head Office. Eurostop provides Retail Solutions to major and well-known retailers on the high street, both in the UK and internationally.
You will be working as part of an agile team working on new and existing technology and products.
Eurostop are seeking an individual who is passionate about being part of a team producing high quality products in a friendly and collaborative environment.
You will be responsible for standard application testing and ensuring that software releases are fully tested.
Responsibilities
- Managing, installing, and configuring multiple different testing environments
- Reviewing software and testing requirements
- Writing and executing test cases for new and existing functionality
- Developing test strategies, including stress testing, performance testing, functional testing and scalability testing
- Updating internal systems with testing phases and defects
- Reporting bugs and errors using defined procedures
- Assisting with troubleshooting
- Regression Testing
- Automation Testing
- Conduct post-release/post-implementation testing, including monitoring of applications and systems
- Working and communicating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle and ensuring that departmental and project deadlines are met
- Documenting release notes
- Communicate findings to technical and non-technical colleagues
- Communicating progress to relevant stakeholders
Essential skills:
- 5+ years’ experience in a software testing role
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively in testing activities
- Previous experience in mobile application testing
- Must be able to install and configure IIS web sites.
- Must be able to install and configure Docker environments.
- Must be able to install and configure desktop environments.
- Must be able to code in C# (preferred) or Java / JavaScript.
- Must be able to code in Microsoft SQL to check correctness of data or to diagnose issues.
- Must be able to design and implement large suites of automated tests.
- Must have clear verbal and written communication.
Desirable skills:
- Experience of automated testing using Playwright framework.
- Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
- Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude.
- Strong self-organisational skills.
- Bachelor's Degree qualification preferred, preferably in relevant field; computer science, statistics, science or mathematics.

Salary: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
