Senior QA Analyst
£45,000 – £55,000 basic
Home based + occasional office visits in Birmingham
Your Challenge
This is a brand-new role for the company, and department too. Their established development department is being divided into two teams: a smaller development team, and a support team consisting of the new QA team. This is where you step in.
As an experienced Senior QA tester, in both manual and automation testing, you will be the sole tester for the company. You will put in place testing processes and plans, and implement the tests, by setting up frameworks from scratch.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior QA tester who is looking for the next step in their career. As the function grows, you will naturally step into a managerial role, as you will be responsible for new hires and growing the team in the future.
The Business
This Medical start up has gone through a huge period of growth in the past 8 years. You’ll be coming in to a sub-50 person company with huge financial backing as their Senior QA Tester.
Their next journey? A fully automated testing team.
This role is primarily WFH with very occasional office visits in their Birmingham office. They are a very sociable team, who like to meet up every now and then for team meetings which include drinks or a bite to eat, every 6 weeks or so.
About You
You must be an experienced Senior QA Engineer / Senior Automation Test Analyst who is able to hit the ground running and set up frameworks from scratch.
You must have experience in the following:
- Strong background in Software Testing
- API Testing (Postman)
- Automation Experience (e.g. Selenium/Jenkins)
- .Net or C# Environment
- Strong SQL
If you have any experience with medical devices this is also beneficial.
