About The Role
We have a new and exciting opportunity for a permanent QA Analyst responsible for ensuring that all code developed meets the acceptance criteria and as much as possible will go into live without any issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and producing test cases and scripts, materials and regression test packs to test new and amended software or services.
- Reviewing requirements and specifications, and defining test conditions.
- Recording and analysing actions and results, and maintaining the defect register.
- Providing reports on progress, risks and issues associated with the overall project
Participates in reviews of own work and leads reviews of colleagues' work.

Hours of work:
General office hours, working 5 days per week, Monday to Friday (hybrid working 2 days per week onsite at Leominster, Herefordshire).
About You
Skills and Experience (Essential):
- Has commercial experience in the area of Software Testing with solid understanding of Test Planning, Test Design, Test Execution and Defect Reporting
- Can develop testing of API's using appropriate tools
- Demonstrates self-motivation, self-development, open-mindedness; takes personal responsibility for tasks and likes working on a variety of projects
- Encourages new ideas and continuous improvement across the team and the wider department
- Communicates effectively at all levels using the appropriate media.
Skills and Experience (Desirable):
- Has experience working in Cloud technologies including testing and monitoring on a cloud platform
- Can develop testing of Java servlets, Docker, .NetCore, Micro Services and the Event driven architecture
- Can develop automated testing using existing automated test tools and frameworks.
