
Purchasing Assistant (Part Time) Northampton, England
Job description
Due to continued expansion, we are looking for an enthusiastic additional member of staff to join our purchasing team.
The successful candidate will be working in a modern office environment with customer service and quality paramount.
Duties would include but not limited to
· Assisting with incoming calls and emails
· Process Customer orders
· Establish parts required for ordering
· Raising Purchase Orders as required by the business
· Assisting with quoting customers
· Assisting with customer and supplier queries
· Chasing suppliers for back ordered goods
· Getting quotes from suppliers
Experience
· Previous Office experience
· Candidates should have an excellent grasp of English and be confident in computer use, including but not limited to Word, Excel and Outlook
· Using Accounts software – Sage 50 an advantage
