Call Centre Agents
- £15189.00 - £32000.00 per year + incl salary and generous bonus
At Smith’s we are looking for Telesales Agents and Contact Centre Agents to work in our custom-built Call Centre based in Wickford. The Telesales Agent or Call Agent role is predominantly responsible for outbound calls to our prospective and existing customers to book in sales appointments. The purpose of our Call Centre role is to engage with a prospective customer, to provide further information about our wide range of products and the financial options available, then securing an appointment for the sales team.

What the Role is
- Developing sales and upselling techniques
- Engaging with prospective customers over the phone
- Securing a sales lead through outbound calls
- Maximising opportunities from call data and overcoming objections.
- Achieving set sales performance targets through excellent products knowledge and services available to the prospective customer
- Maintaining up to date product knowledge
What We Need
- Proven success in a telesales role and the ability to secure leads.
- A passion for talking, rapport building and offering a great customer experience.
- A proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets, while providing an excellent customer experience
- Determination to succeed, focus to remain motivated, ambition to progress.
- Excellent communication skills to enhance sales values and drive sales.
- Committed, reliable and professional agents.
- Previous experience in a more senior or supervisory role is desirable but not essential.
