Purchasing Coordinator - Erith - 25k - 26k 100% site based no option to work from home
To work for a success business based in Erith. Looking to recruit a Purchasing Coordinator. Proven experience in a purchasing, preferably within an automotive or manufacturing environment, logistics, buying admin, purchasing admin.
The role will invole
- Purchasing Coordination
- Co-ordinate workload
- Lower level data maintenance
- Daily Purchasing -order placing, backorder list, expediting, maintenance of info
- Link with Product Department, promotion planning, new product data maintenance
- Link with CSC and Salesforce
- Link with warehouse
- Query Invoice Processing
- Low stock
- Inputting data for confirmations and reminders
- Chasing confirmations and special orders
The person
- Proven experience in a purchasing, preferably within an automotive or manufacturing environment, logistics, buying admin, purchasing admin
- Ability to add value, reduce costs and make business improvements
- Knowledge and technical understanding of automotive processes and components and supply chain management
- Computer literate, especially Excel skills
- studying CIPS
