Beijer Ref UK & Ireland is a leading group of refrigeration and air conditioning wholesalers with 47 branch outlets and utilises two distribution centres for centralised stocks. There are 4 wholesalers within the group; Dean & Wood
Ltd, HRP Ltd, RW Refrigeration Wholesale Ltd and DWG Refrigeration Wholesale Ltd (Ireland). Also within the group is our MHI (Mitsubishi Heavy Industries) air conditioning business, Beijer Ref Refrigerants and Beijer Ref Academy.
We are recruiting for a Purchasing Administrator at our distribution centre in Morley.
As Purchasing Administrator, your main responsibilities will be to provide branch support, including:
- Assist with our Fresh Desk email ticket system, meeting service levels to cater for our branch network purchasing requirements
- Place purchase orders
- Check order confirmations / update ERP
- Create part codes
- Chase back orders
- Develop and promote good purchasing practice – continually review and improve processes
- Take calls / orders from customers and process their requirements
Full training will be provided on all product and service offerings.
The ideal Purchasing Administrator will be a flexible person who enjoys working on their own and as part of a small team. You will have the following skills and experience:
- Excel literacy is essential as it will form a key part of the job role
- Excellent organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Methodical and accurate
