To help us create amazing partnerships, we need amazing people. Canine Partners has an exciting opportunity for a Puppy Training Team Leader to join our growing Puppy Training team in the South.

What you will do:
Using your expertise as a canine trainer balanced with excellent people management skills you will be responsible for the recruitment, training and line management of our Puppy Training Coordinators and Puppy Volunteers in the South. Your influence will be key in ensuring our trainers support our dedicated team of volunteers in the training and development of our life-changing puppies to become assistance dogs. You will also have a small caseload of your own puppies that you will support volunteers to train.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven track record of dog training, knowledge of puppy development and training
- Experience of preparing and delivering training sessions
- Experience of supervising people and people management
- Ability to inspire and motivate people
- Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills both in written and oral and across a variety of audiences
- Strong organisational skills
- Proven coaching and training skills
- Accurate record keeping skills
- Effective public speaking/presentation skills
- Strong ICT skills (MS Office)

This role is home based, within the Bracknell, Berkshire area and will support trainers and volunteers in areas across Berkshire, Hampshire, West Sussex, and Surrey - please see the attached map for full details. There will be regular travel across these regions, therefore it is essential that you have a full driving licence and appropriate vehicle or the ability to transport yourself in line with the requirements for the posts.
We will provide a laptop and mobile phone for use in this role and access to a comprehensive travel and expenses policy for business travel.
