Worle Community School – An Academy are now looking to recruit for a new and exciting role within our school. We are looking to recruit enthusiastic people to support our students to enable them to access all school experiences and opportunities.

The main purpose of this role is to support Pupil Premium students within the school through mentoring and ensuring that all appropriate provision is accessible to them. This is the ideal role for someone who really wants to have a positive impact on the lives of children and young people.

What you will do:

  • Support disadvantaged students by removing barriers to learning.
  • Monitor attendance, behaviour and attainment of disadvantaged students and support where necessary.
  • Communicate with staff, students and parents/carers to support disadvantaged students.

The successful candidates will have:

  • A flexible but persistent approach to their work; reliability and resilience are essential.

This role involves working with children on a daily basis and is therefore in regulated activity.
