About the role
We have a unique opportunity for a Senior Finance Manager, Accounting to join our Finance based at our Fender EMEA head office in East Grinstead! Reporting to our EMEA Finance Director, this role has financial and fiscal responsibility for the accounting and treasury function for Fender EMEA's sales distribution companies across the EMEA countries.

Hybrid Working

Main Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and standard operating procedures and identify/establish internal controls and ensure their operating effectiveness,
- Ensure month end accounts are submitted accurately according to specified Corporate formats and deadlines,
- Preparation of monthly balance sheet control account reconciliations to ensure that the accounting records are properly reconciled and that all aged items are resolved in a timely manner,
- Ownership of Balance Sheet forecast and budget process for EMEA region,
- Responsibility for statutory and fiscal reporting, including company secretarial requirements,
- Manage the Payroll Specialist to ensure that inputs to and outputs from the outsourced payroll providers are accurate,
- Keep up to date with changes in accounting and tax legislation and then ensure the Reporting function is compliant with the requirements of these changes,
- Manage the audit process, coordinating with the company's auditors to ensure deadlines are adhered to, and ensuring comprehensive audit working papers are compiled to support process,
- Responsible for all financial reporting processes in their control, ensuring that it is effective, with good controls in place and that each process is well documented,
- Responsibility for financial policies and procedures for the EMEA region,
- Manage the treasury function within the department to ensure all corporate treasury requirements are met,
- Appraise, train, and develop personnel to improve departmental efficiency and effectiveness; perform talent assessments of staff and provide mentoring and career development
- Proactively look for process improvement opportunities beyond what is already established and,
- Support Ad hoc finance projects.

Person Specification
Essential Skills/Knowledge/Experience
- Qualified Accountant, ACA or ACCA, with more than 7 years post qualification experience,
- Preparation of statutory accounts,
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
- Experience of managing a team,
- Attention to detail,
- Deadline driven with the ability to remain calm under pressure,
- Proactive,
- Multi-tasking, flexible and adaptable
Desirable Skills/Knowledge/Experience
- Knowledge of US/IFRS GAAP
- SAP
- Advanced Excel
