Your New Role…
Working in the EMEA theatrical publicity team with a specific focus on MGM titles, distributed internationally by Warner Bros. Pictures and also supporting the Studio titles as needed, across all PR campaign management and execution. Serve as regional PR liaison for all MGM titles, working in close collaboration with the Home Office publicity teams based in the US, EMEA marketing team in London, and all local offices across the EMEA region.
Your Role Accountabilities…
Coordinate and implement publicity campaigns and events in EMEA for all MGM theatrical releases as well as Studio titles as needed.
Develop relationships with both Home Office publicity teams based in the US as well as the Global MGM team to ensure seamless information sharing as well as campaign reporting.
Work closely with Distribution and Marketing teams across each release to understand priority and opportunity markets in the region and ensure their campaign needs are met.
Collaborate with the overall EMEA Marketing team to seek out new and different approaches and ideas to bring a fresh perspective to each release.
Liaise with markets to ensure local nuances are shared, campaign requests are well met and make sense strategically for the overarching campaign.
Coordinate with VP, EMEA Publicity & Senior Manager, EMEA Publicity on all aspects of publicity campaign planning and implementation, whether in person or virtually.
Manage EMEA press interview schedules for junkets/press days ensuring they take into consideration the strategic imperatives, priority territories and growth markets for each release.
Liaising with European offices on nominations and press arrangements
Reviewing nominations and plans to ensure consistent with strategic approach
Where activity will physically take place, working closely with hosting market and home office on logistics, schedules and rep approvals as well as any necessary COVID regulations
Negotiating rates with vendors & talent handling on certain projects
Liaise with Publicity teams and Creative on junket assets and materials, photo backdrops etc.
Working closely with the team intern and local offices, create publicity ‘bibles’ for use at EMEA festivals, junket and tours and assemble information for tours.
Managing publicity screening programmes in markets and ensuring all screenings are on strategy
Liaising closely with various divisions across the company to ensure informed on upcoming activity or for feedback including broader Marketing colleagues, WM Security, Tech Ops, Corp Comms and Distribution.
Act as main press contact for all junkets/press days in EMEA.
Lead on press facing platforms including MediaPass; regional super user
Collaborate with team finance role on PO’s that need to be raised and recharges
Qualifications & Experience…
Experience in a consumer publicity role, ideally having worked in film/entertainment publicity
Knowledge of the European media landscapes and culture
Exceptional organization and project management skills with the ability to deal with multiple projects and under time constraints
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and with offices where English is not a first language
Ability to travel if needed
