More information is available on our Career site at Job Details The post is in the Roads and Lighting Maintenance Operations unit within the Roads and Transportation Service. It will be based at Bankhead, Glenrothes but applicants will be expected to travel throughout if required. Undertake as part of a team, the repair, maintenance and installation of public lighting systems ensuring that all such works are carried out in a manner that positively contributes to a high quality, responsive and cost effective service which meets Service and customer expectations. The Person You should have experience in working in a roads and / or a street lighting environment. Knowledge of street lighting equipment and techniques would be advantageous. You should possess good communication skills and be able to transfer these in different circumstances e.g dealing with members of the public. You should be a good team player as well as be able to work with the a minimum of supervision. You should be able to work in all weather conditions and be able to provide a regular and effective service.
