This permanent post is available immediately. We are ideally looking for someone on a full-time basis but please contact us if you are looking for part-time as we may be able to accommodate a minimum of 4 days a week.

The role offers the opportunity for hybrid working – working from home and on campus. There is an expectation that work will be undertaken on the Exeter and Cornwall Campuses when required. The role


Would you like the opportunity to join an expert team as an Occupational Health Advisor (OHA)? As an OHA, you will provide exceptional OH and disability advice and guidance, advising managers and staff at both the Exeter and Cornwall campuses.


We are seeking an OHA who will thrive in the diversity of University life and enjoy working with employees from varied roles and professional backgrounds, and who will assist us in our University aim to provide a positive, and safe working environment for all employees. The main elements of the role include; advising new starters, complex case management, workplace assessment, health surveillance, and advising on health and wellbeing and staff health policy and procedure. The role will have a lead in the management of disability cases.


You


You must be a Registered General Nurse having a degree level (or equivalent) post registration qualification in Occupational Health (currently registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council, Part 1. We are a nurse led service with regular clinical guidance from our appointed Occupational Physician. We welcome applications from those with experience in disability advice and guidance and organisation-wide staff wellbeing initiatives.
