General Affairs Assistant

We are recruiting for a General Affairs Assistant to join our Tamworth based client. Your role will be to support all areas of the business in General Affairs. You’ll represent the company in a professional manner on reception, meeting and greeting all visitors to site.

As a General Affairs Assistant, you will need to have/be:

  • Able to demonstrate proficiency in Excel and other M365 applications.

Details:

  • Salary: £23, 000 - £27, 000 + £1, 610 lunch allowance (in addition to basic salary)
  • Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Thursday 9.00am – 5.30pm and Friday 9.00am – 3.00pm
  • Location: Tamworth
  • Duration: Permanent

Role of General Affairs Assistant:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day organisation of the site administrative and organisational tasks.
  • To support all areas of the business in general affairs such as maintaining stationary suppliers/ stocks, office equipment and sundry supplies.
  • To manage the Company vehicle fleet according to internal policy with timely renewal of vehicles.
  • Support the administration of Employee benefits packages such as lunch allowance, PMI, GIP, travel insurance; enrolling new joiners, ensuring compliance and manage the annual renewals process.
  • Support invoice booking onto the system (SAP), assist the manager with budget control.
  • Taking care of office supplies, liaising with service providers, business and personal contacts, potential vendors. Organising meetings, business trips, hotel and flight bookings, catering, lunches.
  • Arrangement of special events and occasions, in co-operation with the site President and the HR Manager.
  • Representing the Company in a professional manager as Front Desk representative.
  • Assist with administration of bid paperwork.
  • Other duties as reasonably assigned.
