Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant - East London
Salary - £85-£95 per week PAYE

I am working with a vibrant primary school, in popular area of central London, with a specialist provision for children with autism and speech and language needs?
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Psychology Graduate who is looking to become a Teaching Assistant to gain practical experience working with children with special educational needs
Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant requirements
- Passion for working with young people who require additional support in order to access education and social development
- Ideally previous experience (formal or informal) supporting children with autism or other special educational needs
- A proactive and positive individual who is always striving to meet children's learning needs.
- Ability to build rapport with children
What you can expect as a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant
- Your role as a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistantwill be to support a child with special educational needs however the role will vary from day to day, you will be expected to use your initiative and respond calmly in challenging situations
- For aspiring Teachers, Pastoral Workers, Child Psychologists, Educational Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, SALTs, Counsellors, and Social Workers, these positions will offer relevant and vital experience for your chosen career path
- Continued Professional Development - SEND schools and APs are continually training their staff to help them support their children's needs, you will become an expert in your field of Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant
- You will have an opportunity to make a huge social impact, as a specialist Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant you would change the path of a child's life.
Pay
- We understand that pay is extremely important and it must be clear and simple! For that reason we have chosen to pay our staff via PAYE only. Quoted rates are gross pay and your pay will never involve employer's NI deductions or admin fees.
- Just as roles vary, so will the remuneration depending on the role requirements and your experience. You will often see these roles advertised as daily rates, please note that we pay PAYE only and rates will vary from £65 - £90 per day, depending on the role and your experience.
