Caburn Ward is lucky to have a Clinical Nurse Specialist in post, who will support you as a staff nurse in your professional development. We recently held a development day for the nurses on Caburn ward, facilitated by our Clinical Nurse Specialist. This focused on building confidence in clinical practice and furthering development. The feedback from those who attended was positive, allowing for the team to discuss improvements that can be made to the ward. Your voice and concerns are important to the leadership team and we encourage you to talk about areas of concern and empower you to implement positive change
Working within a supportive clinically led team, you will have the opportunity to really work in partnership with patients - engaging, supporting and developing a relationship which really enables the recovery process. With a real commitment to improving care delivery, as part of our team you will be supporting quality improvements and initiatives that will enhance the patient experience. Many QI projects and change ideas are currently in the process of being implemented on Caburn Ward and we actively encourage our team members to lead on projects that they feel will positively impact on patient, carer and staff experience of the service.
Our vision is to provide outstanding care and treatment you can be confident in. To achieve the highest standards we have already embarked on a programme to transform the culture of the Trust to one of continuous improvement, delivered through participation of all staff and with service users, carers and families at the heart of our efforts.
