Assistant Psychologist- Complex Trauma Pathway- Integrated Mental Health Team (4 posts available)
Midlands Partnership University Foundation Trust (MPUFT) has an exciting opportunity for four Assistant Psychologists to support the Complex Trauma Pathway within the Integrated Mental health teams (IMHT).
The specific clinical teams being recruited to are the following (one vacancy per team):
- IMHT Cannock (base at Park House, Cannock)
- IMHT Stafford (base at St. George's Hospital, Stafford)
- IMHT Seisdon (base at Codsall Council Offices, Codsall)
- IMHT Tamworth (base at Sir Robert Peele Hospital, Tamworth)
We are looking for enthusiastic and diligent Assistant Psychologists to help support the complex trauma pathway. This is a pilot pathway designed for service users who have recently been stepped up from IAPT services into secondary care mental health services, who have experienced complex traumatic life experiences. The Complex Trauma Pathway is at the interface between Primary and Secondary Care (Integrated Mental Health Team [IMHT]), and is based within the IMHT. IMHTs are multidisciplinary teams following a recovery model that is informed by both psychological formulation and medical diagnosis. The Psychological workforce play an essential role in facilitating the development of psychological practice through the provision of training, supervision and consultation as well as offering a wide range of psychological approaches
