Qualified Clinical Psychologist Band 7
We’d love you to join us in developing the Clinical Psychology service for people with learning disabilities in the richly diverse and vibrant city of Manchester. The Community Adult Learning Disability service is passionate about ensuring the best quality of life for all the people we support by delivering high quality, effective compassionate care that recognises the individuality and value that each person has.
If you are committed to the rights and well-being of people with learning disabilities and are able to demonstrate a high level of professionalism and commitment to successful multi-disciplinary working, this could be the role for you. Self-awareness and excellent communication skills are critical to us, as you’ll be instrumental in delivering high quality care and psychological support to the people we support.
You will join a supportive and friendly team. Our clinical psychologists are highly valued by our team managers, colleagues and the people we support as an integral part of CALDS. We are a truly multi-disciplinary service, and our clinical psychologists value the expertise and support offered by working closely with colleagues from other professional disciplines.

We are committed to our specialist dementia work, supporting people with highly complex behaviour that challenges, specialist risk assessment and developing the offer of a range of psychological therapies.
