You’ll ensure our creative output is on brand and accessible for our diverse communities.
As our lead for creative and design work in the communications team, you’ll work closely with corporate services, the wider organisation, and external creatives to support the delivery of internal and external communications objectives.
Using your specialist expertise, you’re responsible for producing print, digital, and multimedia materials for a range of audiences and channels, as well as proactively pursuing other creative projects which support our brand and reputation.

We look after three hospitals in north west London: Northwick Park Hospital, our main base, Central Middlesex Hospital, and Ealing Hospital.
- Develop and maintain a corporate design style, in line with NHS identity guidelines, ensuring the brand remains fresh and relevant
- Delivering the Trust’s strategy and communications objectives, and developing plans to support delivery of our organisational goals
- Where necessary, ensuring all Trust publications and creative assets (including patient information and marketing materials) comply with: • Trust and NHS identity
- NHS Accessible Information Standard
- Equality Act 2010
- the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018
- Leading on the design of corporate and marketing materials, including: • Magazines and reports (such as the Trust’s newspaper, annual reports and accounts)
- Posters and leaflets (such as Staff Excellence Awards collateral)
- Presentations for use by the Communications team, Trust Board, and other teams
- Digital assets for social media, websites, or intranet (such as campaign assets and collateral to support the above)
- Working with the Communications Specialist to approve patient information leaflets compliance with key standards and legislation
- Producing multimedia content, including videos and photos, that support the delivery of the communications strategy and organisational goals
- Writing attention-grabbing calls to action and accompanying text for use on social media, web, and in print
- Overseeing and contributing to design projects requiring advance planning and co-ordination with stakeholder engagement
- Maintaining a rigorous job tracking system, providing reports and information, as required
- Sourcing and preparing assets produced by other organisations to support local and national campaigns
- Commissioning external design, video, photography, and production agencies and freelancers
- Supporting internal and external campaigns with innovative ways of communicating with key audiences
- Supporting corporate events, including the annual general meeting and staff awards
- Establishing and maintaining an effective image and asset library, with a log of filming and photography consent documentation
- Monitoring the use of Trust logos and supporting a wider programme of brand implementation and reputation management across the Trust
