Under the supervision of a qualified professional psychologist: Undertake clinically supervised work with clients on a one to one and group basis delivering brief psychological interventions Assist the multi-disciplinary team in meeting the needs of expectant or new mothers and their families through the formulation of care plans and the delivery of clinical interventions. Assist in clinically related administration, conducting audits, collecting data and statistics, development of audit and /or service evaluation and research projects Participate in the assessment of needs, planning, implementation and evaluation of support programmes for mothers and their babies. To support the provision of psychological assessments of service users applying psychological, including neuropsychological tests, self-report measures , rating scales, with clients, family members and others involved in the service users care Under supervision, assess and manage risk within an appropriate psychological framework To carry out brief psychological interventions (on an individual and group basis) To carry out carers assessments
