We now have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Psychologist to become part of an outstanding CAMHS service. You will expand your knowledge and skills by becoming part of the team who assess and diagnose Children and Young People with Neurodevelopmental Disorders. As an Assistant Psychologist you will support a Multi Disciplinary Pathway which involves, Paediatrics, Psychiatry, Clinical Psychology, Educational Psychology, Early Help, Social Care, and Nursing.
Ideally you will already have experience of working with children and young people and have an understanding of the assessment and diagnostic process for children and young people with neurodevelopmental disorders. You will receive regular supervision from a qualified Clinical Psychologist and training will be available to enhance your skills. There will also be opportunities to learn more about children's emotional well being and mental health and assist clinicians with group and individual therapeutic interventions.
