Job summary
The Community Mental Heath Team is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as an Assistant Clinical Psychologist.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with clients with a broad range of complex mental health difficulties. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a variety of clinicians who form part of the CMHT. Our team consists of a clinical psychologist, Occupational therapists, Social Workers, Psychiatrists, Nurses and Support Workers.
Responsibilities will include conducting initial client assessments, providing therapeutic support to clients, facilitating group therapy, and collaborating with the MDT and third sector services. You will also have the opportunity to participate in case management meetings and professional development opportunities.
The successful applicant will be supervised by a Clinical/Counselling Psychologist.

The ideal candidate will have an undergraduate degree in psychology that has graduate basis for recognition with the British Psychological Society (BPS) and have some experience in working with clients in a mental health setting.
