Overall Purpose of the Role:
In this role, you'll be part of a supportive and collaborative team of 5 event marketers, operating in a dynamic and nurturing environment. You'll take ownership of various annual events across the blue division, starting with the support of the Senior Marketing Manager and Head of Event Marketing, eventually leading to independent responsibilities for event marketing delivery across a number of allocated events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Head of Events Marketing & Senior Events Marketing Manager to develop and execute world-class, engaging marketing campaigns for multiple annual events.
- Plan and implement email campaigns, ensuring effective segmentation and reporting on engagement metrics.
- Fulfil partnership marketing requirements, including creating personalized assets and updating websites.
- Produce digital event assets and brochures, coordinating with logistics, editorial, and design teams, while adhering to schedules and budgets.
- Coordinate marketing efforts across key channels, including email, web, social media, and print, ensuring consistent messaging.
- Manage event websites, optimize enquiries, bookings, and traffic using Evessio.
- Handle social media communications, schedule tweets, and LinkedIn postings to increase following and engagement.
- Develop and grow each event's community, reporting on social media and online traffic, entries, and followers.
- Proactively manage and expand the current database, identifying new sources for future growth and implementing data selection strategies.
- Design and analyse questionnaires and research material, providing valuable insights to the team.
- Stay up-to-date with marketing trends and industry best practices, recommending adoption of new ideas to the wider team.
- Utilise market intelligence and customer insights to enhance audience understanding and campaign effectiveness.
- Provide regular analysis of key metrics, contributing to future marketing strategies.
Skills and Experience:
- Strong knowledge of marketing principles, tactics, and best practices, with a focus on digital marketing and lead generation.
- Previous experience in B2B events marketing.
- Proficiency in using social media scheduling tools like Hootsuite and experience with PPC management tools (preferred but not essential).
- Understanding of Google Analytics and the ability to track KPIs and report on campaign success.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to create compelling content and effectively convey messages to diverse audiences.
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
- Education to degree level or equivalent is advantageous.

This exciting position is a full-time hybrid role. 2 days in the office, 3 days from home. This could change over time depending on business needs.
