We are part of a large IAPT reporting service for people experiencing common mental health disorders. We consist of Cognitive Behaviour Therapists, Psychologists, Psychological Therapists and Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners and work in partnership with 1Point counselling services.
We are seeking to recruit to a number of full time & part time posts across Bolton and Salford IAPT Services.
There are 4.6 WTE posts available.
The post will involve providing assessment, treatment and Step 2 Interventions both remotely and face to face in a clinic setting.
We want to recruit people to the team who have a commitment to low intensity interventions and are confident in their ability to contribute to the demonstrated effectiveness and acceptability of our service.
Successful applicants will join an experienced team and benefit from robust managerial and clinical support, guidance and supervision.
You would be employed within the IAPT Directorate of Greater Manchester Mental Health Trust and so will benefit from being part of a professional organisational structure within a large Foundation Trust and part of a more local integrated network of mental health and wellbeing services.
The post will involve providing assessment, treatment and Step 2 Interventions both remotely and face to face in a clinic setting.
Have an excellent understanding of anxiety and depression and its impact on individuals.
Have an awareness of the IAPT initiatives and main targets set for services.
Be able to manage within a service that has to dynamically respond to demand and need.
Have knowledge and skills in Step 2 assessment, risk assessment and interventions and be committed to the models of supervision provided.
In addition, excellent communication skills are essential and the ability to manage and prioritise a large caseload of clients with a high turnover.
Offers of employment conditional on the successful candidate being passed fit for the post by the Occupational Health department and following a DBS check.
