We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Property Project Development Manager to join our team. With a portfolio comprising approximately 8.5 million square feet and a property asset value exceeding £2 billion, this role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on our corporate property projects.

As the Property Project Development Manager, you will collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects, aligning with business objectives and driving exceptional results. This is a key role in managing internal property reporting, control, safety requirements, and engaging external project managers and contractors.

A degree/ HND level or equivalent in a property related subject, appropriate membership of professional body, and solid PQE demonstrating the delivery of construction projects are crucial for this role. The successful postholder will hold a solid track record of delivering quality and creative solutions, will be capable of managing external suppliers, and will have excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, which in turn will ensure they are seen as the internal expert within Property Project Development here at BA.

Key duties will include –

  • Leading and managing outsourced professional service providers, including Project and Cost Managers, design teams, and contractors, to deliver cost-effective and professional services throughout each technical project.
  • Taking ownership of project delivery, ensuring adherence to agreed time, cost, and quality parameters. Developing and implementing project strategies, drive continuous improvement, and provide regular reporting.
  • Establishing and maintaining effective project governance, aligning with corporate governance principles. Ensuring compliance with corporate procurement, quality, safety, health, and environmental policies and standards.
  • Taking budgetary responsibility, monitoring project finances, and collaborating with the BA Finance Manager.
