Homes for Students is the UK’s largest independent provider of Student Accommodation. We currently have a vacancy for a Property Manager covering our Barker House and Albert Place Properties in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne working 40 hours a week, 9am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday.
The successful candidate will provide strong leadership to ensure we deliver an exceptional customer service through our sales, maintenance, and housekeeping provision. You will work closely with the wider business, to support the embedding of our values within your team and ensure that everyone has what they require to do their role to the best of their ability.
The most exciting time of year is September, when the successful candidate will take ownership of the check in, check out and room turnaround process. You will need to have excellent communication skills, as you help support our new intake and manage any customer related or operational issues.
You will have the support of the wider business and an exceptional area and regional team as you navigate this journey. This role involves a wide variety of skillset, but we will be with you every step of the way as we develop you into life with Homes for Students.
Person Specification
- Previous experience of managing a team within a similar role or environment
- The ability to present and analyse information in an accurate and appropriate format
- Excellent organisation skills
- Ability to work in a team, lead, motivate and inspire
- Excellent IT skills including experience of Microsoft office software
- Knowledge of health and safety requirements is desirable but not essential
