About the role

I am an expert in handling Portfolio Management, by implementing and driving standard ways of working that continuously steer the progress of in year and long-term plans. This is delivered through clear and streamlined processes, effective communication and with strategic and holistic thinking. I provide the link across leadership teams and other functions to enable effective decision making that is consistent across all projects and is aligned to strategic objectives.

You will be responsible for

Following our Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity and due diligence and have these specific risk responsibilities:-

  • Business Partner with Finance to create and own Property's rolling 3 year plan, feed into Finance LTP and Annual Plan cycles. I am responsible for driving, maintaining momentum and keeping alive throughout the year.
  • Be the central source of information for the delivery of projects and programmes. Define and standardise reporting updates to the business across all Property-led and functional projects.
  • Understand the business case and ensure our programmes and projects link to the relevant strategic driver or functional priority programme.
  • Create and sustain Property's approach to monitor the progress of projects and programmes against objectives, coach and support teams where needed.
  • Track NDA projects to ensure overlaps are considered and communicated where possible.
  • Provide the link between the Business Planning function and functional project managers across each strategic priority to ensure alignment and support with a plan to achieve objectives through Property's role as an enabler.
  • Collaborate with the Property Leadership team and cross functional teams to ensure that governance is standardised and centrally handled.
  • Enable the flow of information from and to Property Governance meetings (cascade of decisions to relevant parties, next steps delivered, actioned and reported etc).
  • Conduct a review to outline potential efficiencies through centralisation and automation of governance forums.
  • Develop and implement a single approach to facilitating, tracking, indexing and documenting within Property governance forums working closely with TBS analyst who records minutes and next steps.
  • Be the gatekeeper for identified projects such as TBS transition - through defining correct approach, consistency, alignment, project governance and review.
