James Charles Properties LTD is a small business with 12 rental residential suites and 2 commercial units in Vancouver, BC.

We are looking for an experienced Property Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property management, including knowledge of leasing, tenant relations, maintenance and repair, budgeting, and financial management. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the rental properties, including ensuring that all leases are in compliance with local laws and regulations. They will also be responsible for handling tenant complaints and inquiries, managing tenant move-ins and move-outs, and ensuring that all maintenance requests are handled in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
- Manage tenant relations and resolve tenant issues.
- Track tenant documentation and payments
- Ensure all property taxes, bills, and fees are paid in a timely fashion
- Liaise between tenants, landlords, and contractors
- Oversee repairs and regular maintenance projects
- Conduct regular property inspections and maintenance.
- Find tenants for vacant units and execute lease agreements and notices.
- Prepare reports for owners.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
We are looking for someone with:
- Previous experience in a similar property management role
- Familiarity with real estate lease agreements
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Ability to build rapport with tenants and maintain good owner-tenant relationships
- Ability to time manage and prioritize
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Job Type: Freelance
Salary: $30.00 per hour
