In this role, there is an expectation you will attend the office one day a week minimum. You can find out more about our hybrid working policy at colleagues.coop.co.uk/hybrid-working-policy

We’re looking for a promotions co-ordinator to join us at Nisa and help us co-ordinate our promotional programme. Since Nisa was acquired by Co-op in 2018, we’ve focused on combining the best of both organisations to offer something new to independent retailers and commercial wholesalers across the UK. More scale and better product ranges give Nisa customers a real competitive advantage.

In this role, we’ll look to you to make sure all promotional information is accurate and communicated appropriately across our trading teams. You’ll also be the key link between our trading teams, working collaboratively across the business. If you have administration experience and great attention to detail, we can offer you the opportunity to develop your wholesale knowledge, at the same time you make a positive impact in our business.

What you’ll do
  • support the management of the Nisa promotional process
  • engage with our customers to share promotional data, making sure it is accurate and up to date
  • manage all promotional data, summaries and promotional customer allocations
  • act as a key link to help promotional information flow from the Co-op
  • communicate updates with Co-op and wider Nisa teams, ensuring publications are fully accurate
  • monitor competitor activity and provide updates on key promotions and execution in the market
  • collate and manipulate data from different sources, making sure its accurate and up to date
This role would suit people who have
  • experience performing administration tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • a commercial understanding or good numeracy skills
  • a keen eye for detail and accuracy
  • excellent organisational skills
  • great communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with a wide range of teams across the business
  • the ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-pace environment
  • strong IT and MS Office skills, particularly Excel; you’re able to work with VLOOKUP’s and complex formulas

Why Co-op?

Here you will do work that matters. We are a commercial organisation with a purpose beyond profit, and you’ll have an opportunity to help us build a stronger Co-op and stronger communities. You’ll also get a package that includes

  • competitive salary
  • coaching, training, and support to help you develop
  • pension with up to 10% employer contributions
  • annual incentive scheme
  • Wagestream – a money management app that gives you access to a percentage of your pay as you earn it
  • 28 days holiday (rising to 32 in line with service)
  • YuLife - an app that rewards you for exercising with discounts and vouchers for many of the UK’s biggest brands
  • discounts on Co-op products and services
