Job description

The Production Manager is a leader, that with a keen eye for detail, is the person responsible for the creation and delivery of all non-shoot, content-based promos and AV focused mini campaigns. This role is focused on Sky entertainment and is the glue between internal and external Sky teams that transform a brief from just an idea to finished and engaging work.

What you'll do:
  • Manage multiple priority and fast turn-around projects end-to-end; ensuring that the teams work on time and within budget, taking financial overview pre and post projects, highlighting trends and potential problem areas with monthly and quarterly reports.
  • Hold regular production meetings with your co-ordinator, creative team and stakeholders, to keep on top of all projects and drive the best work.
  • Set up projects on internal project management tool, ensuring the correct information is inputted and tracked.
  • Foster relationships with internal teams as well as external partners to ensure creative processes are adhered to.
  • Is co-responsible for quality control checks on their promos before delivery. You are the guardian of the brand for your areas.
  • Support more junior members of the team in their development by holding regular catchups to talk about their performance, goals and feedback.
  • Share the work and project experiences with the wider production team, in order to build collective knowledge, learn from possible mistakes and set the bar for creative excellence.
What you'll bring:
  • A proven track record of project managing end to end (ideally within the world of promos).
  • Propensity in taking pride in every project done, cares about, and enjoys every detail and is extremely accurate in following the process and checking our work is the best it can be. Has evidence of doing this.
  • Demonstrable problem-solving, solution focused attitude and extremely organized; always following a clear process, able to move from the small detail to big picture action.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, is flexible when needed and can drive multiple projects from brief to delivery.
  • Great, confident communicator: able to deal with conflict, ensuring professional, clear and open lines of communication always and influencing desirable outcome. Has evidence of this.
  • A hands-on team player and people motivator with proven ability to lead by example and get the best out of individuals and a team.
  • A passion for content and genuine interest in being part of creative processes.
