Oxford Population Health (Nuffield Department of Population Health) contains world-renowned population health research groups and with around 750 staff, is one of the largest departments in the Medical Sciences Division. The aim of Oxford Population Health is to reduce premature death and disability from human disease. The Ethox Centre is an internationally recognised multidisciplinary bioethics research centre and is a vibrant place to work.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join the Research Support team at the Ethox Centre. This interesting and varied role will provide administration support to Ethox projects and collaborations, with a particular focus on coordinating workshops, meetings and academic visits.
You will be educated to A-level standard, or have equivalent administrative qualifications/experience. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, with a positive self-motivated and flexible approach to work as well as excellent computer skills are essential. Experience working in a large organisation and/or in higher education would be desirable.
The post is full-time (part-time considered) and fixed-term for 3 years.
