Based in Stoke-on-Trent, we are seeking to appoint an experienced Software Tester to join the Software Operations team with related experience within the fast-paced IT sector, being able to test high performance web and mobile applications, along with the drive to move and progress with the business at this fast pace. WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

Immersing yourself as a key member on the team, you will be carrying out functional and API testing across our web and mobile applications, working closely with the wider Agile team. Ideally your experience will include using Postman. You will be using your excellent communication skills to liaise with Developers, Automation Testers and Team Lead when handling any bugs and requests. This role has become live due to the expansion of the business so if you are proactive and want to join one of the UKs fastest growing IT companies then this could be the role for you!

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

You will be planning, organising, and reporting on testing phases of work items across a range of products. You will liaise and collaborate with our Project Test Leads making sure to share best practice and improvements to assist in driving overall team output and quality. As the Project Test Lead, you will be communicating both within an outside the team, attending and contributing to various interdepartmental meetings.

WE NEED YOU TO HAVE…

• Good understanding of the software development lifecycle
• Commercial experience of preparing test documentation including test plans, test scripts, defect reports and progress updates.
• Strong team and project lead experience and software testing experience
• Commercial experience leading large projects
• Effective communication at all levels
• Quality is at the forefront of your way of working and maintaining this throughout the SDLC
