Job description
We’re looking for a Project Technician to join our Utilities team in Peterborough.
Location: Hybrid working with office base in Peterborough along with travel to sites with a company van provided
Contract: Permanent- full time- part time/ flexible hours may be available if desired, just let us know and we’ll do our best to support you
Responsibilities
As Project Technician, you will be focusing on gathering data for the project delivery managers and project engineers through SAP/ corporate systems. This information is essential to the efficient and effective operations and maintenance of water recycling sites and increasing quality of asset data and equipment records held.
Your day to day will include:
Complete asset updates for the schemes
Work with the project engineers to compile the asset register records when a design evaluation is requested
Interrogate corporate systems for any relevant data
Source and extract asset records for use during site surveys and for reactive delivery
Source up to date records to assist in identifying and locating assets on sites
What are we looking for?
This role of Project Technician is great for you if:
You hold a full driving licence
Hold excellent IT skills, particularly using spread sheet data
Experience within a similar role with knowledge of water supply/ water recycling operations
