Job description
We're looking for a Project Surveyor to join the believe housing team
on a permanent basis.
We believe in life without barriers. If everyone expects more, they can achieve more, and we can transform lives together.
This role is hybrid, which means you can work in the best place to get the job done whether that's at one of our County Durham offices, at home or out and about.
There are many great opportunities in the Assets and Compliance Directorate, with a huge scope for positive impact. Placemaking schemes improve whole estates, and investment plans have a direct benefit in the homes and lives of thousands of customers. Environmental works lower fuel bills and carbon emissions, tackling two of the biggest challenges we face right now. And compliance activities help to keep our customers safe and free from harm.
about the role
· You will deliver an excellent experience for customers by the successful delivery of the cyclical, capital investment works contracts, and environmental works programmes for believe housing.
· You will be responsible for the delivery of all construction related work in these areas ensuring that day-to-day contractors and suppliers are effectively managed and are delivering a customer-centric, value for money service.
· You will monitor the day-to-day operational delivery of all construction work projects for your area of responsibility. Ensuring any issues are rectified with the appointed contractor where applicable.
· You will provide regular updates on progress, cost and risk during delivery of all schemes and provide timely progress updates to relevant internal and external stakeholders as may be required during delivery.
