It’s an exciting time in Health Informatics as the EPR Programme is now embarking on a number of significant digital transformation projects which will enable the Trust to realise its strategic ambitions for the establishment of an integrated Electronic Patient Record (EPR) across the Acute, Community and Primary Care settings. As well as the developing focus for the establishment of a Acute EPR we have a range of key digital projects that support this work; i.e. the establishment of an Electronic Document Management Solution [EDMS], Electronic Prescribing [EPMA] and Nexus redevelopments. Consequently the EPR Programme is looking to recruit a suitably experienced and qualified individuals to undertake a number roles which will enable the Trust’s EPR ambitions to be realised.

The post holder will provide a comprehensive administrative and secretarial service to the Digital Programme Team and ensure the effective organisation of commitments across the full range of duties. This will involve liaising as appropriate with multi-disciplinary teams across the Fylde Coast in order to arrange meetings and to ensure that documentation and minutes are correctly filed and distributed. This support will provide continuity of standards across all projects.
The post holder will develop and maintain a knowledge base for all aspects of project management and act as a central source of expertise in specialist support tools.

The ICT Project Support Officer is responsible for supporting the ICT Developments project management team with the day-to-day running of ICT Departmental projects under their management, on behalf of the relevant Project Board and within the constraints laid down by the board. The Project Support Officer is responsible for administrative duties related to the Digital projects such as taking of meeting minutes, updating project documentation, and maintenance of project required governance systems (SmartSheets). The post holder will use recognised project management tools and techniques e.g., PRINCE2/ AgilePM to ensure that projects are delivered on time and to budget with expected outcomes monitored and achieved. The use of detailed implementation plans and other associated project products e.g., workstream checkpoint reports, risks and issues logs, will be required to aide this.
