As a Sales Account Manager, you will work closely with the Marketing and Inside Sales teams, and play a vital role in our organisation, responsible for building a strong pipeline, identifying client needs, and closing deals.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with mid-market and enterprise clients, engaging with C-level contacts and senior executives.
- Drive short and long-term sales growth by acquiring new clients and expanding cross-selling activities within existing accounts.
- Utilise consultative sales methodologies to manage complex sales cycles, from lead identification to deal closure.
- Promote our portfolio of carefully selected solutions and services directly to end-user organisations, whilst collaborating closely with partners, vendors, and resellers.
- Contribute to the achievement of individual and company targets and goals, leveraging your expertise and experience in B2B sales.
To thrive in this role, you need to bring:
- Previous experience in B2B technical direct sales (UK market), with a track record of client acquisition, and consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Proficiency in managing complex sales cycles (3 to 12 months) involving multiple stakeholders.
- Strong background in consultative sales, showcasing excellent prospecting, account management, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Methodical and organised approach, business acumen, coachable attitude, strong work ethic, integrity, and a can-do attitude.
- Experience in the IT/Telco/Managed Services sector is preferred, and knowledge of IT security products is beneficial but not essential.
