Job description
The post-holder will ensure the successful implementation of major and complex projects that form key elements of the Norfolk and Waveney Specialist Services Care Group objectives which support the Trusts Strategic Objectives alongside the Care Group Leadership team. The role will involve managing quality and improvement projects from inception through to implementation and evaluation. This will include responsibility for creating, producing, co-ordinating and maintaining core documentation, information and reporting, as well as the scheduling and maintenance of meetings and workshops. The postholder will be the first point of contact for enquiries about projects.
The postholder will be responsible for developing, managing, implementing and maintaining information for all the workstreams and monitoring progress against key targets. The postholder will have broad knowledge and experience relevant to the role and will be using their reasoning, intellect and judgement to manage their workload, make decisions and pro-actively deal with issues independently. These projects will engage a wide range of stakeholders and organisations and the post-holder will be required to ensure effective engagement of all parties and effective coordination of the project with other interdependent work-streams and projects. The post-holder will be required to work in a facilitative way to ensure that the aims and objectives of the project(s) are met.
This will involve presenting complex and contentious information to groups. The post-holder will maintain an overall plan to deliver the project on time and within budget and will coordinate, oversee and direct the activities of the project. Managing a wide range of complex projects to ensure short and long-term benefits for the organisation. Ensuring both existing and new work projects have a methodical and effective project management approach operating across the team and with all relevant stakeholders.
