The Opportunity
Planning is fundamental for the successful delivery of our projects and activities at Leonardo and our Project Planning team holds the responsibility for delivering this service in support of the Company’s goals and objectives. We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals at varying levels of experience to join our team, and who are able to work collaboratively as part of an Integrated Project Team to deliver projects involving cutting edge aerospace technology and services for customers in the UK and Internationally.

What we are looking for
Proactive and motivated team players who can work collaboratively both within the function and the wider Integrated Project team, acting as an advocate and role model for good planning process- Experience in industry standard planning and scheduling techniques preferably using SAP and/or Primavera P6
- Experience in identifying interrogating and advising on project performance data including cost control, EVM, risk, resource management and schedule variance
- Demonstrable experience in successfully planning projects of varying levels of complexity and in different stages of the Project Lifecycle.
- Ability to constructively challenge the project performance and data with the IPT to ensure the project plans and schedules reflect reality and mitigate risk to the business
- Strong communication skills both written and oral, with advanced experienced in Microsoft Excel and Power Point in support of this requirement.
- Experience of project controls and understanding of governance mechanisms required to ensure project controls are successfully delivered.
- Experience in supporting bid activities through schedule development, risk management and governance
- Analytical and logical nature with a strong desire for continuous improvement
- Able to recognise, develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships at all levels
