We have 40+ team members spread across the US, the UK, Ireland, and Australia. 30+ members are based in Austin, TX. We are seeking an outgoing individual with a positive attitude that is willing to grow with the company.

ShipperHQ is looking for an experienced Project Manager capable of working in a fast-paced environment to deliver results on numerous high-visibility and complex cross-functional business initiatives and projects. You’ll work closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing & Partnerships teams to help plan, manage, and drive the delivery of project work. Being highly organized, detail-oriented, efficient, collaborative, and team-focused will be crucial to success in this role.

The Project Manager will contribute in the following areas:

  • Create and manage project plans to track progress, resources, and timelines.

  • Manage project progress and timelines; adjust schedules and plans as needed, and identify and resolve issues to ensure project success.
  • Manage day-to-day execution of projects. Assist with the planning, tracking, documentation, and status updates for the project.
  • Determine milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and blockers, and ensure all team members have the required resources and information to carry out tasks effectively.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, and meet the quality standards set by the business.
  • Implement and manage change when necessary to meet project objectives.
  • Support, direct, and manage team members cross-departmentally when necessary to meet project deadlines
  • Serves as the main point of contact across cross-functional teams with a strong ability to always be prompt, responsive, and knowledgeable of the latest project status or update.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.

The ideal candidate would have the following experience:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in project management.
  • Proven experience managing complex projects, preferably in a technology-related field.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, and Scrum.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders, team members, and vendors.
  • Demonstrated experience in budget management, resource allocation, and risk management.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • PMP or other Project Management certification is a plus.

This is a highly fast-paced environment where no two days will look alike. For the right candidate, with the right attitude, there are fantastic opportunities for career progression. You will learn more at ShipperHQ in a year than you would in 3 years at other companies. We are an agile, fast-moving team that likes to roll up our sleeves and solve some of the biggest issues in shipping.

Benefits and Perks:

  • Work with a collaborative and motivated team with the ability to tie results in the organization directly to your actions.

  • 401k Match
  • Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance
  • Maternity and Paternity Leave

Logistics:

  • This is a fully remote position
  • Compensation is based on experience
